Evening all! My mojo has dipped a bit too, I got all motivated whilst at work today as I looked at new training plan to get me back in marathon shape for October, and promptly got home and did an impression of a couch potato. Also I need to stop eating crap! I need a bit less 'meh' and a lot more 'rarrr!'.

Crikey, just caught up, I'm surprised we had such a gap!

Sorry to hear that everyone's feeling a bit deflated at the moment. :( Maybe the weather's had a bit to do with it or everyone needs a bit of downtime to re-charge their batteries. I had a PT who was always going on about how drinking loads of water (at least 2 litres a day) helps with losing weight. I still try to drink at least 1 1/2 litres on top of my other drinks but really the key is to cut the crap. I still don't lose anything either. ;-)

I did a race last weekend. it was quite hilly and probably my slowest yet, but I did it, so to cheer you up, here's a pic of my bling (in case you haven't seen it before). :)

ROFL, I was giggling until I spotted the spinning willy, and then totally lost it at that point *off to get tissues to mop up the tea I spluttered all over my screen* Thanks alpenrose :-)

Whirling willies! Whatever next? :-O :)

Another one struggling away here, getting slower and slower for more effort :(
I have to get bloods redone next month for thyroid and though I don't really want yet another health issue, I'm desperately hoping that is the reason for my decline in fitness as there is no enjoyment in running for me just now.

Oh dear, it sounds like we are all without mojo - let's hope it is something in the air and will soon blow over. Bring on the tonic (without the gin of course :-/ )

Anyone going to accompany me out on a run this evening? My plan is to go about 6 and do 4 miles. It would be lovely to know I had company in the virtual world. It would also stop me from changing my mind.

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way

4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
3) to shift some of the extra heft I've gained this year
