(Me neither, unless you want to ski in your pants!) I suspect it’s just a design feature.
I quite like the zips for vents on skiwear.

Tell him it's so the hospital don't have to cut them off when he falls over and breaks his leg

He FaceTimed me to ask about all the bits and bobs. It was quite funny. Then I showed him a ski boot - I don’t know what he was expecting but it wasn’t that. I really wish I could go on this trip with him, it’s going to be comical.
Every time a bit of kit arrives in the post for him or one of his kids, he sends me detailed photos. He’s obviously finding the whole thing perplexing while two of his three kids look so excited.

Sounds like a pair that a ski racer would wear over a racing suit, can he change them for proper ski pants?

Ooo that sounds like something he would like. They’re proper pants, just with more zips.

I went to Aldi today and they had ski kit in for kids. Maybe suggest he goes to TKMaxx or Decathlon to get more of an idea.

I think he has everything now AR but thanks. He’s got expensive tastes so the kids have been decked out in Head to toe North Face. His jacket is from eBay, the rest is all new. I do hope they like skiing

Rose What day are you going out to St Anton? looks like they have shut a lot of the lifts today on the webcams. 1.5m of snow forecast over the next 4 days. Looking forward to getting out there on Sunday

On my way now. I don't think I'll see much this week. I was lucky that the plane got into Innsbruck, there was a small window in the snow showers and it was very bumpy.

Hi. Any tips for how to join a group ski trip as a single (that is, single skier, not single marital status ) to get best / cheapest deal. Looking to try and squeeze in a week in March.
You almost want a "swaps" concept for people that have to drop out of a trip they've booked. Mind you, you can't swap a flight, so that doesn't really apply.
Any suggestion gratefully received. Ta. G
