El sombrero May 2011 11:42pm, 8 May 2011 1,683 posts	0 El sombrero I was really looking forward to meeting some of you today but I didn't have the energy to chat. 5 sit down loo stops before I even started left me empty and I really struggled round. Once I had to sit down again at 18 miles I had no energy. I couldn't drink much as I felt sick all the way. I saw PH near the beginning and I overtook Naomi several times up to around 18 miles - I would get ahead and then need a wee! Also saw Blind Ken + other fetchie with him but too ill to say hi. I learnt loads today, mainly don't eat loads the day before! I'm shattered, will sleep well tonight. Almost hydrated again!i

I'd never do anything other than eat loads the day before a mara so perhaps you need to work out what it was that bothered you? You need the energy.. Huge congrats on the PB Jogging Jon, evidence you can race yourself fitter Not sure if I said anything to you Half Empty, I tried to say something to people I passed on the Greenway but was working reasonably hard myself Did you get in ok?
