Great race today, I do like this one, and I still love the Greenway. Nice that we got to do both this and VLM this year. Shame we missed most of you in the pub, we saw WW and Fizz but noone else. Good to see a few people about though |

Half Empty
Managed a pb today making it round in 3:51:49. Was going really well (probably too well) until the moment we turned onto the greenway and my hamstring decided to remind me where it was. Had to coax it along to the end with regular walk breaks. Naomi, I didn't feel the kick when you went past me with about a mile to go |

Hi everyone, I completed my first marathon with you guys today, not a great time but it was always going to a PB as long as I finished. Thanks JJFlash for your company early on. Sorry to Fizz who was encouraged/heckled by my family supporters and any one else they were "encouraging". I could always hear them before I could see them!!!!!!! Until next time............. |

Your family were great rosie-b. I lost count of the number of times they cheered and shouted at me, and it brought smile to my face every time

Sneaked a little PB myself. Well done to everyone who ran today. I had a great time - nice course, great support and a banana. |

Back home now and feeling a bit more human having eaten! an early morning departure from S.London meant I was hungry from about 14 miles onwards! however equalled (bar a couple of seconds!) my previous PB but considering my preparation I am happy with that! although the 4.30 still eludes me!
