so many posts to catch up on will do slowly
for me it all went well, a pb by a minute - but that pb was set 25yr ago
gels and carrying water & getting it refilled , and being dicliplined about keeping to paace early on , and trying to go for it later on seemed to be my secret formula.
Oh and my Welsh cap has a third funtion
1 keep sun off
2 keep rain off
3 soak up some cooling water from hoses or water stations to cool head.

Hey those southern softies @VLM had it cooler. The Bard's run was the place to be :-)
