go on sign up for Monikie as a non Cyclist I did not find it to bad.
The wind was up on the first round which slowed me down a lot but overall not any huge hills.
I have been sick for over a week now so am hoping will be ok by Sunday.
I have been on the Turbo Trainer a few times but like you debstir not been on the road.
The hardest thing I found was that their are no milage indicators like in a running race so if like me you forget to Zero your speedo you have no idea of where you are.
Well I have just had my porridge without salt or sugar. But with some raisins.

Porridge and banana - a taste of the tropics in Lanarkshire

I have to say I did feel very Scottish after Glen Clova. Which is odd, because I've never lived further than 10 miloes from Glasgow or Edinburgh the whole time I've stayed in Scotland ;-)

Surely you'd be up for Lairig Ghru Gobi? Almost in your distance range...
Or the Three Peaks (if you can find yourself a mate with a boat)?
Or WHW?

Last years Arran relay was 22/7 I think

Islay sounds interesting....I guess it's the week before Mull, which I will be doing.

how many do you need for the relay team in Arran? Maybe interested as long as you don't expect to win anything with me in the team.

Pentland Skyline, 16 miles and 6200 ft of ascent, that's the one for the great Gobi!

Cape Wrath marathon good for Gobi and you can even do this one in 2 and 5 person relays.
