He was a stalwart of the local running scene and a long time member and secretary of my club Forres Harriers, and also of the north district cross country league. By coincidence he will appear in the final of Mastermind tonight. The final was filmed some time ago and the BBC were going to postpone it but family have said to go ahead as planned. I think he would have seen the irony!
