But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. We start pretty early down South! It's actually to gain the maximum amount of light, especially on the second day when folks might be a bit slower, didn't want to risk anyone finishing in the dark... It is an event where you can turn up 15 minutes beforehand if you want though, Deal last had a traffic problem in 1783 and there is infinite parking space.

Just to let you know that I've made a few updates to the race site and posted up the entry list.

One thing I've changed is that for those doing the double you're going to get a goody bag on each day rather than just the one, they're going to be pretty good and didn't want people to feel left out on Sunday if the "one day" runners got them and then the "doublers" didn't... this whole event is being done like I would like all races to be done. So the goody bags actually contain goodies and a distinct lack of paper, adverts and general junk that goes straight in the bin. So things like crisps, chocolate, clif bar, more chocolate, cheddar nibble things etc...
