Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have the book but am holding off going for it until after this mara. Have worked in a couple of his ideas already though. It's not all new to me but it's reminding me of a lot of stuff I should be doing. Some ideas are different for sure and I think I would greatly benefit from his belief that you work on all systems to get better, not just one or two.

I had a look at it while picking up 'the LORE' the other day, it did look like a good book.

Gobi, funnily enough when I flicked through the book I thought what he prescribes is closer to what I did with you. I trained harder then, if not necessarily with more miles than I do now.

Just did my first fartlek session tonight. I quite enjoyed it. Just got to workout at what pace to do the intervals at later on in the week.

Anyone else doing them yet?

I really liked this book and have already started using the small strides/quick cadence up hills and it's working like a dream!

I have just started re-reading it (armed with a yellow highlighter :-)) and am hoping to use some of the techniques alongside the Furman plan which is working so well for me at the moment.
