Pam runs
Lip gloss.

That's one of my main problems changing my goals and achieving none. Chasing too many rabbits. This time I'm trying to stick to getting 5k down. 🥴

In some of ways my very lack of any specific goal, at least in respect of a race time might have an impact on my "performance"! Goals of 100 miles a month and 1,000 miles a year have been fun and still are...allowing me to run/walk now! Run/walk has been a recent implementation since my concerns around my heart. Maybe when I've been checked out of and there's no serious issue I can chalk up a goal re pace again.
I'm sure you've achieved more than you're letting on about Lip gloss. 😊

Haha Steve I wish. My main problem is sorting out my head and believing in myself again. I say I can’t do it before I even try :-( .

My times look good but they are a few years old now and Covid coming just put everything back a bit but hey getting out is always a bonus these days.

Oh God...looking at my times for five miles on exactly the same route just two years ago make me despair! Fifteen minutes adrift and even struggling at that🤪☹️!
Your four minutes will soon be chopped off Lip Gloss, I bet.
30/30 over five miles this morning. Nice quiet trails and I only saw one other person running...who disappeared into the distance 😂. (I'll be back😂!!)

Did my 1st run/walk for a month following hamstring trouble. 5k at 60:30. The run bit was nice and easy and kept HR in zone 3 so as not to over do it. 🤞🏻 the hammy behaves! I came back too soon last time.

No good comparing past times with present times, steve45, if it makes you despair. Do what you can and enjoy it; what can any of us do more?

😂well despair is too heavy a word really Columba! I guess it just cheeses me off sometimes. I can't forget my fairly swift past pace and my slight disability reduces my ability re pace.... walking or running ..by about 30% which I incurred twelve years into my running. Arghh!!😂 And of course, I enjoy it, after 44 years it's part of me!
