I’ve done this once ( run) and you have to be disciplined at the start as it appears very easy.
I did think about it today and trying for August.
Well done DQ.

Thanks all 😊
I was determined to do only the minimum required each day so I didn't break myself early on in the month, as I knew it would be hard once the distance started racking up in the last week!

Am giving this a go this month for both the bike and walking. The bike should be fine as long as I remember to go out each day. The walking will be tougher as although I walk every day the dog isn't up to the miles he used to do so will need to go out alone too

Well done DQ. I did Walk the Sum a few months back and found it a real slog by the end, even when breaking some of the longer walks into smaller ones throughout the day.

I don't think I'll do Run the Sum anytime soon, but might try Bike the Sum in a month when I know I'll have access to my bike every day and won't need to borrow or hire one.

I've never had a bike so that one will never happen!
I might have been able to do Run the Sum 10 years ago when I was marathon fit but I'm struggling to run walk half a parkrun now so I think that badge will remain unclaimed sadly.
Good luck to all attempting any version this month.

I’ve done run the sum and walk the sum and both were hard in different ways. May try one at of them again at some point

I don't think so. As I understand it, running, walking and cycling are each recorded and tracked as separate activities

1) Add the digits of the date together e.g 18th = 1+8 = 9km, 20th = 2+0 = 2km.

2) Run that distance on the relevant date to colour it in.

3) Complete the whole month to get a badge.
