I’ve done this once ( run) and you have to be disciplined at the start as it appears very easy. I did think about it today and trying for August. Well done DQ. |

Thanks all 😊 I was determined to do only the minimum required each day so I didn't break myself early on in the month, as I knew it would be hard once the distance started racking up in the last week! |

Am giving this a go this month for both the bike and walking. The bike should be fine as long as I remember to go out each day. The walking will be tougher as although I walk every day the dog isn't up to the miles he used to do so will need to go out alone too

Well done DQ. I did Walk the Sum a few months back and found it a real slog by the end, even when breaking some of the longer walks into smaller ones throughout the day. I don't think I'll do Run the Sum anytime soon, but might try Bike the Sum in a month when I know I'll have access to my bike every day and won't need to borrow or hire one. |

I've never had a bike so that one will never happen! I might have been able to do Run the Sum 10 years ago when I was marathon fit but I'm struggling to run walk half a parkrun now so I think that badge will remain unclaimed sadly. Good luck to all attempting any version this month. |
