Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Embarrassing. Bottled it last week, got blown away too easily this week. Bye bye Stuart Lancaster.

Last week they should have won, this week Australia absolutely bossed it.

Slight irony in Aus comfortably kicking points from very far wide right at the end.

Christ, even Inverdale sounds like he's in tears :-(

I'm not the biggest England fan but it's awful that they're out.

I decided last weekend to have a tournament's worth of beer and then sack the rest of it off. After all it's not the Tour de France is it, even if they're all on drugs? The horrible wobbly drop goal I half jokingly described as "cheating" might yet be the highlight of England's campaign;-)

Have to say as disappointed as I am, we aren't worthy of going through, we just haven't played well enough

Might force a bit of a rethink about what's going on

That team should never feel that they let down their country. They may have lost but no member of the team went on the field prepared to give any less than their best.

I don,t think that the current media trend of questioning whether a loss or series of losses should mean that a Coach or Manager ought to depart is of any value to the team or supporters. I know they feel that they have to do it but it,s unedifying at best and downright disrespectful at worst.

Of course I,m delighted that Wales have qualified but next week,s game will have us as clear underdogs. Australia are favourites for finalists on that performance.

Jonny W......inspiring.

Some mates of mine have been predicting this for some time.....should have listened......reckon Lancaster is rgby's Peter Moores. Lack of clarity of thinking, a gameplan to execute was brutally obvious. I bet all the squad have set PB's in the bench presses, and other fitness measures though.
