Well done England. At least Argentina made it more competitive at the end and it was entertaining in parts.

Not sure what to make of it personally NM.

England were very erratic. And I can't even say it's because they had lots of young players on, although they did. But they also had lots of old stager's on.

Just think perhaps the two gens didn't gel and the squad had as about as much enthusiasm as I did for this match.

Argentina played well..

As a disinterested observer I found it…interesting. Not a brilliant game but played with a decent amount of spirit from both teams.

Agree, Underhill was good, but he had a point to prove didn't he.

Stewart looked banged up at the end, damnit.

What’s the story with Underhill? He was a monster in 2019 and young, I thought he was going to be a mainstay. They were saying that was his first England game since last summer.

A more entertaining game than I expected tbh with just enough moments of quality to keep this neutral interested. Probably the right team won (just about)

On the negative side, there was a really disappointing amount of appealing, complaining and amateur dramatics from both sides which gave proceedings the general air of two bald men fighting over a comb.

“That” pass did look forward but the only angle ITV showed was from behind the play so difficult to judge. It was checked by the TMO so one has to assume there was a better angle that showed it was backwards. The attempt to speed things up by checking in the background doesn’t always help the spectators understand that the correct decision has been made (assuming that it was).

I’ll be cheering all blacks but as long as it’s a good game I’m happy.
