TROSaracen 4 Jan 4:19pm, 4 Jan 2024 27,418 posts	0 TROSaracen Feels a little narcissistic to me, best player in the world parachuting in for a glory run in a sport that's usually the preserve of up and coming youngsters with the odd specialist who does not quite cut it in the full game. It will become all about him, and not sure how that will impact the team/squad dynamic. (FWIW I often feel similar about Tennis/Basketball players etc where fully professional sports try to crash the Olympic party when Olympic gold is a long way off the biggest honour in their sport)

He's started training with them now so presumably he will just be doing 7s from now on until Paris. I'd hope that if it doesn't work out they wouldn't keep him in the team just for the publicity.
