That brings back a lot of memories Mrs J - our school had a weekend outing for each form at the Owl's Nest, on the Buxton Old Road just out of Disley (where the river starts on the map, if you zoom in it is marked). We used to go to see the Cage and play "take the flag" games in the park.

The parkrun is a bit hilly i expect

Today's looks familiar, but suspiciously green. I've only ever seen it dry and dusty and brown. Hope you enjoyed a beer and the view at the end.
