I miss the ROTD not being on the front page but understand the reasons behind it.

The RoTD is on the front page - well on my pc. Not on the initial screen, but needs scrolling down a few 'boxes'
On mine - shows on 2nd col, under Ness, Tom Williams, advert for the Fox, then ROTD (although not labelled as RoTD)
I do tend to check it - if only to go back & correct my typing.

I will be switching the order round a bit more now (I’ve done some coding to make it easier), so you can expect to see it further up the page occasionally.
