You can do less complicated dives which I presume is what the others did? Otherwise Daley wouldn't have been first?

The interviewer asked if Daley had held something back as the there had been talk that others had, he said you can't as you may not qualify.

Ahh, I misunderstood what you meant. I suppose it's a question of balancing getting enough points to go through and maybe doing the more difficult dives in a competition so you get used to them.

I can barely watch this mountain biking, it's giving me vertigo :-)

Yeah I don't think u can hold back and u want to practice ur hardest dives. He nailed them in prelims and didn't today. It happens.
