Hi I'm new to Fetch Found this thread, having slowly returned to running since starting treatment for breast cancer. I wasn't sure about whether I'd be able to do anything during chemo, and was v tired last week, but the sunshine has been so lovely that I ventured out very briefly this morning and it has cheered me up no end!

Wow glad I found this thread. I was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer 2 yrs ago. I have been told that its not curable, that reoccurrence is fairly likely but as I have the low grade form of the disease my 5 year survival rates are much better than some of my friends who are high grade. My return to running has been complicated by other health issues. I actually feel I have regressed further back than square one I am sure I wasn't this slow when I took up running. I am really unfit I get out of breath really quickly and I feel a bit wiped out after a run but I still love running and I want to be as fit as I can be to fight my cancer. I would like to be able to run a sub-30 Parkrun again and. Sub-60 10k. Do you think that is possible or is this my 'new normal'?
