First-time poster!!

Hi! I'm a newbie so please be nice.
Having ran an awful lot in my teens - I had the joys of having access to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Moors so lots of nice off road routes. I've not really been a runner for a couple of years now - though still run just don't do anything with it if you get what I mean.
Now, thanks to a cancer diagnosis, I've donned my trainers once more and actually despite my body being broken/wonky I am absolutely loving it. Many have said I'm completely insane to be running whilst living with cancer but actually, I think it makes sense.
I don't know what the point of this post was but I guess it's a bit of background on me and a hello to everyone!
It's good to be back on my feet!

Indeed it has, it's a great way to focus on the present rather than the scary future.
Ohh I like this place already.
