If you are concerned get it checked by your doc.
Mine's 45 which caused concern at doctor's just lately. I fainted - it turns out I have low blood pressure and 1st degree heart block. Both of which could well be attributed to my exceptional fitness (according to the consultant) BUT it is always a good idea to make sure you are ok. Now I have peace of mind that my irregularities are on record even though they aren't a deal to worry about.

Yep, the alarm goes off quite easily - always does it to me too. They are fine if you have a resting of 70 or so and ur 50 stone

Yes, I seem to remember Rach E setting one off in A&E after some twat decided that he didn't like her using her bike. IIRC it dropped below 40.

oh i set those alarms off post op too. if you concentrate you can do it on purpose.... pre op i once had a nurse so worried he went and got 2 other machines before he believed my heart rate and blood pressure. the only nasty side to it was the anaesthetist refusing to put my under until she had given me something rather unpleasant to raise them both...
i'm not especially fit. to the OP, welcome to fetch and it all sounds fine.
