Agree with all the kind words, always so nice and sincere comments from swittle.
Life is short, I will go and hug my kids now.

And he loved his music too. He posted wonderful tunes on the Northern Soul thread.
I loved his late night run reports.
Still cannot get my head around it he is gone.

I had the privilege of meeting Swittle at the East Hull 20 in 2012. He was such a very kind, gentle and encouraging person. This is very sad news 😒 RIP Switts.

Such a sad shock. A few years back he was of course one of the Fetchies I did a name the Fetchie rhyme about. One of the good guys.

I first "met" him, perhaps you did too,
On the forum of R. W.

His Fetch miles stand at over twelve K,
And he adds to that total every day.

The North West coast is his base,
His favourite run is Another Place.

On the beach in the morning chill
He runs past men like they're standing still!

His photos are so good that he,
Showed them at a gallery.

He's done his thirty thousandth post,
So to him we raise a toast.

Through those posts much kindness conveyed,
Member of the month? No the whole decade!

riggys99 Lip Gloss Of course, head torches need to do more than glimmer...

One of the last things he said on the last day he was seen posting.

Here’s hoping his head torch is doing more than glimmering wherever he running x

Am so so sad. Had many a conversation with regard to adoptions- our stories were so different.

He always commented on photos and came across as a genuine nice guy.

RIP Switts

About This Thread

Maintained by Lip Gloss
Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.

Hope all your beach run are still as perfect as they were while you were here xx

Funeral 5th April 1.30pm at the Thornton Garden of Rest, Lydiate Ln, Thornton, Liverpool L23 1TP
