I assume cabletow regularly logs in here? Hope so, cos my bloomin' hip injury is back. Though interstingly (at least to me!) it's subtly different this time. Was "capsulitis" - inflammation of hip socket. Don't know what caused it - prob just progressing too quickly, fizz thinks. Some rest, lots of stretching and gradual build up and all was well for last month. I'm back up to 40 miles a week and building to Edin mara on 25 May. But after 11 and 8 miles at weekend a bit of pain in same hip when walking yesterday. Did 11 miles last night, no pain when running, but still pain walking last night and this morning. But not when running! Weird!! Also, it is tender to touch, which it wasn't before. Sooooo.... the question is... should I keep training or cut back, or stop and rest or go and see fizz again immediately? All advice gratefully received! I'm due to do 8 tonight and 6 tomorrow, so answers before 5 pm pls!! (P.S. if there is another thread, called "free injury and physio advice" and I should post there instead, please let me know!)
