I use it for getting the train into London from where I live (takes about 4 hours) once or twice a year. I drive 10 miles to the nearest accessible station. Once there I avail myself of the various methods of public transport.

Before the pandemic, I took the train five times per week from West Yorks to Manchester and back. Now it's a couple of times per month- probably up to 6-8 times per month eventually (plus v occasional work trips to London / Sheffield / Coventry on the train). Busses and trams, once in a blue moon...

Free bus pass and £10 per annum to add on the tram. Love it.

NW England. Trains and buses where possible. Would never drive into Manchester if I can avoid it.

I'm like Jenny and AL, only I live in central London. My travel pass is one of my most cherished possessions. Before I had a pass, and was younger, I cycled or walked almost everywhere but I still used public transport a lot, mainly buses cause it was cheaper than the tube more than I used my car.
I love public transport: tube, buses, overground. I've continued to use it -masked - throughout the pandemic.

London's pretty busy now. Vicky line was fairly packed on Saturday morning.

I'm in rural south Warwickshire so public transport isn't much help. I would always drive 25 minutes to the nearest train station to go to Birmingham or London though.

Where is the poll? I sometimes get the train to London, or to work if my car is in the garage.

THere is a bus route, it’s Stagecoach so not really reliable and not particularly useful. I’ve caught more Lake district busses in the last 3 year than local ones in the last 30
I would always catch a train into London rather than drive and if John Lewis hadn’t closed would probably be training it to P’boro for shopping and lunch with mum.
