Googling how much water in a cup of coffee puts me off the chart. Apparently the water footprint of a cup of coffee is 130 litres!

2-3L of water (depending on whether doing gym/run), 1L across 2-3 coffees.
I don't think it's "equivalent" paulc, it's the actual liquid volume. G

Yeah, I was just utterly astonished at how much water is required to make a single cup. Still only a fraction of that required to make a t-shirt.

Quite surprised at the volume of tea / coffee. I thought I drank a lot.
I've only started tracking recently & drink about 3 litres a day but I have to make an effort to do that. I might be slightly more as I count a glass or tea as 250ml, when mugs ate probably more like 350ml

Let's see, today I have had: 3 glasses water, 1 coffee, 2 (herbal) tea, 1 hot chocolate, 1 squash... so 2ish litres by early afternoon. I fully intend to have at least 3 more cups of tea, water with dinner so in total probably in the 3-3.5 range
