I’ve had a Eurosport Player subscription for some time and when looking to renew, I was pointed towards a more expensive Discovery+ subscription (£59.99). I mainly watch cycling on Eurosport but do on occasion watch other things (marathons and some other stuff), which previously was the reason I didn’t go for GCN. Does anyone have a view on the best (most affordable) way forward?

What does the discovery+ include? Is it all ES + GCN races and docs?
I, partly due to not getting around to cancelling ES, have both, and used to passively watch a bit of winter sport on ES, but don't do that anymore. So for me GCN+ probably covers everything I now need. I do enjoy some of the non-race content on GCN.

We're sitting in a bar in Flanders at the moment. It's cold and a little blowy, but at the moment at least not forecast too wet over the weekend.
Looks like WVA may not start, but should still hopefully be a competitive race.

From what I can see, it doesn’t include GCN. It’s just Eurosport and then other Discovery channels, which in general I’m not interested in.

That was a great race. Chapeau MVDP there, properly left it to the last second. Pogacar deserved a podium there but that was big blunder at the end.

Great comeback by MVDP after his winter issues.
Pogacar rode exceptionally for his debut.
Shame to not have WVA here due to COVID.

He was silly, threw away a dead cert second place - like his ego wouldn’t let him do what MVDP wanted him to do. MVDP judged that to the last inch, any later and he would have been second!
