Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Also I'm not sure they start quite at sea level (but Cabarge is over 600m high).

"Kenny was very lucky not be DQed last night. Couldn't have complained if he had been IMO."

Whilst the TV pictures showed that he'd overlapped. According to the GB coaches who were interviewed afterwards, they'd got a camera overlooking the half lap line (for analysis) - looking square on (unlike the TV camera position) and they used that to convince the judges (who were going off the TV pictures) that they hadn't overlapped. They used the same evidence for the German who by all rights looked like he'd massively overlapped in the second false start.

Oversight from the officials.

Thanks SPR, definitely adds some interest to that race. Is he a medal prospect? Heard Laura Trott get called the best bike handler last night, and thought Sagan might have something to say about that.
