Johnny Blaze
If he invades any one of them that's Taiwan and Ukraine gone. What a mess.

OR...

The grown up NATO members such as the UK, Germany & France actually realise they need to stop letting the US do the spending & call the shots for at least 4 yearsand ramp up defence spending then when Trump loses to an adult if there is anything left Putin faces a stronger foe.

Canada should refrain as Putin would tell trump thats blatant provocation

Musk looks and sounds as if he really has no care for the consequence of whatever he opines, he's in that privileged place where he can say what he want for fun; an internet troll fundamentally but with the ability to get his "posts" the attention of the world's media. I've seen him referred to as the worlds biggest pub bore.

I'm late to the party in respect of being critical of Musk because up until this last election cycle I thought he was just noise in the system, and was generally impressed by some of the things he had led on (or at least played a public part in) through his disruptive approach (Tesla, Space-X, Starlink). I even thought his takeover of Twitter was likely to be benign.

Clearly I was wrong!

Genuine question. Has Musk ever achieved anything of his own accord? Or hasn't he just bought (into) already successful endeavours initially with his dad's money?

He's achieved some good investments, not sure if he chose those companies on his own though

I don't think it's credible to think that Musk didn't add something to the companies he has established / bought / invested in. Clearly he didn't design any space rockets or electric cars, and I've not seen or heard anyone refer to any key "advisers" that point him in the right direction. And he doesn't sit by as an passive investor, that's for sure. But I've no doubt he has brought some direction, impetus, way of thinking that has helped with the innovation, even if it is just getting the organisations to put the right people in the right (technical) roles.

Well I’d hope that most people are better than an empty chair in their job, that’s a pretty low bar. A more interesting and relevant question would be whether he has demonstrated any extraordinary insight and leadership skill to justify his extraordinary accumulation of wealth and power.

I can't see that he acquired his reputation for innovation / disruption without substance behind it. Before he became such a loathed figure, he was already talked about as being a major entrepreneur in the US economy alongside figures like Gates, Cook, Zuckerberg etc.

Tesla is like Apple in terms of everything is proprietary, you can't go anywhere else for anything really.

Does anyone know anyone who's on their 2nd or third Tesla?

There you go Musk makes much of the world look the other way while Trumps son travels to Greenland to ferment insurrection.

You saw it here first folks
