None of their racist supporters were shouting for domestic abuse refuges F-R.

No front page headlines from that. So in their opinion not worth the money.

Their moral compass was all over the place.

They deserve to never be in power again. Ever.

Well they did have the Maybot....

(Actually the best human being of the worst Prime Ministers in the last 14 years, IMHO, although I know she had some significant failings.)

Anyone want to take a guess at who didn't turn up for the first day of school today?

I suppose Farage?

When did the previous lot ever talk about food banks either? Or child poverty? It’s just not part of their mental landscape.

I don't think they regarded child poverty as something negative, to be honest.

Yep. First guess.

No doubt he's planning a big entrance tomorrow to make it all about him.

So - in order to vote, you need to possess some very specific forms of photo ID - and you need to provide it at the polling station. But to stand for parliament, you just need to fill in a form and provide your full name and the name of the constituency where you live. How on earth can they allow THAT legislation to pass?
Someone could literally stand for parliament (and be elected as an MP)... but not actually be allowed to vote in that election!

Thank goodness we got rid of the incompetent idiots (apologies if any of the defeated Tory MPs are runners who frequent this site)

Apparently the same person has been a Reform candidate in more than one seat at the same time. Forget checking voter ID there should be stringent checks on the candidates.

To be nominated for parliament there is also a £500 fee and you need to be nominated by 10 others who are constituents. There is a bit more if you stand for a party.

I think rules for standing in parliament have over the decades been less costly (open democracy) and I'm these rules are if the Tory making

PS why does PNE post come with a spambot warning?
