Braverman as PM. On one hand she would probably destroy the tory party for a generation. Which would be good. On the other she could do an awful lot of damage in the time she would have left. Which would be bad. On balance I think I’d rather she didn’t make it to PM but got in as opposition leader after the election. She’d probably be bad enough to keep them in opposition for about thirty years. That would be very good.

I know we don't theoretically elect any PM but this situation has just become a total mess. Especially now they're doing more stuff not in manifestos now and doing stuff while bypassing parliament entirely.

They are in the hallowed space occupied by the MAGA Republicans now: the space where their only agenda is to put their own factional interests ahead of the good of the nation as a whole.
In fact they will happily burn down the house if it means they get their hands on the levers of power again. The interests of the country mean nothing to them; the health of the people means nothing to them; the power to inflict their hideous agenda on us is everything.

Bizarre isn’t it? To be in power but not do anything constructive with it. But their agenda is different to mine. They only want to stay in power so they can enrich themselves and their chums. They really have no thought for the majority of the country. But it has always been so. I struggle to understand why any normal working person would want to vote Tory. They don’t give a flying shite about anyone other than themselves and their ilk and they have proved it ad nauseum.
