Starmer is keen to avoid the one issue wedge - be it Brexit or ULEZ or whatever. Anything like that gives the Tories a chance to latch on and benefit despite and smokescreen their terrible time in government.
In the absence of anything else, I'm sure there will be loads of culture war nonsense as the GE gets closer, but Starmer has already set out his socially conservative stall to defend on that front. It's a super cautious approach for sure that won't make many people too excited, but suspect it will do the job of getting into power.

I’d love to see Starmer ramming through progressive policies but I won’t believe it unless it’s in the manifesto.

All this talk about being pro business - what he really means is anti-worker.
All this talk about wanting increased growth - but not in workers salaries.
Labour do not care about working class people like myself.

For sure, but it doesn’t change the question of who is least bad: Labour or Tories.

I don't think that's an easy question to answer anymore. With the Tories at least you know you're dealing with outright cnts as it's tattooed on their foreheads, while some of the Labour lot are still trying to hide theirs beneath a layer of panstick.

It’s a pretty easy question to answer really.

And there's not a cat in hell's chance of me voting for a party if their best line is "we're not as shit" as them. Even/especially if them is the shittest government ever.
