Nope, don't agree with that fozzy. Brexit was an act of self-harm by an ignorant section of society, misled by a bunch of self serving idiots. If it was anything it was a class war, where the only ones to benefit are those who thrive on instability and can weather long term decline i.e. the ultra rich and the traders in financial instruments of debt and bonfire sales.

Not a war, but war was used as a rhetorical device for quite a lot of the debate.
Not by the side that tried to sell membership of the EU as an anti-war project, though.

What do the ex-forces folk think about the use of “war”? I’d be interested having been told that my anti-war stance was not welcome on the Ukraine thread by people who are “proud and honoured to have fought for their country”. I have no reason to believe they’re Walts.
Given that they police (sorry I mean perform peacekeeping duties) that thread and must be viewed as the experts on war, maybe they can adjudicate on whether the word as used by Fozzy is appropriate or not?
