I saw one film of a nurse from an El Paso hospital who said they have a room called "The Pit". Covid patients go in: they never come out. Never.

When you look at Covid hotspots in the US at the moment there seems to be an awful lot of overlap with "red states". There is a madness overtaking the US at the moment.

Yeah, as someone who thinks Independence would be a massive mistake, Johnson is just a massive boost for the cause.

He really needs to think before he speaks, but he just cannot help himself. Its hard to believe but maybe David Cameron would have been better if it hadnt been for him allowing the Brexit vote in the first place

Cameron did the damage and then fled for the hills, as did Cummings.

Johnson next, but I suspect Goevvels will cling on forever like an indestructible turd/cockroach hybrid.

When Cameron suggested the vote though to bring the party together, what was the feel for us actually voting for brexit? 70:30 against?

If it had gone the other way he's the guy that's united the competing conservative factions.

If Remain had won 52/48 I doubt it would have permanently shut up the likes of Farage and the ERG.

Indeed. I seem to recall Farage grandstanding "THIS IS NOT OVER" on referendum night until he twigged that he'd won...
