😀😀. Good shout, JB. In fairness, I think lots of other people told the government that to their face, whether they had your experience or not. Nothing, not one thing, has “ever” felt right about it. |

I watched "13th" a year or so ago. One of those films that can genuinely change the way you perceive the world. It changed my perspective for sure. I think it is essential viewing.

And yes. Bill Clinton jailed more black people for longer than any president in history. He should be ashamed.

How spooky - my daughter advised us to watch that in our Zoom family chat last night (I said she should watch Bitter Lake).

Conservative party is the economically sensible party? Labour can't be trusted? Since the Tories came into power in 2010, the national debt has more than doubled. It now stands at more than £2 trillion. They have increased the national debt more than every Labour Government in history combined. |

Having seen the plane up close, the utilitarian grey is ugly, and a paint job would be a good idea to make it look better. John Major wouldn’t need it repainted I guess. painting a plane does not cost that much however. Presumably other work is also being done which cannot be disclosed for security reasons, maybe it’s part of a scheduled maintenance check. I’m sure the government waste so much more money on other things. |

We all know govs waste money, so they may as well just carry on wasting money? Erm, nope! Rather they are held to account on every penny. Overall happy with the sensible and necessary spending with furlough etc, but given the dire state of borrowing right now, it is really not the time for new paint jobs, especially when that costs nearly as much as free school dinners over the summer. |

They are also apparently "floating" the idea of not one but two new "Royal yachts" which we can doubtless use to scuttle around the world in to sign trade deals which (in no way) mitigate the damage caused by our exit from the EU. Johnson loves his vanity projects. A record-breaking economic meltdown isn't going to stop him from getting a flashy new set of wheels/sails/boob job. |

£1.24 bn to help school students catch up on education missed, in whole or in part, because of restrictions. Not so good: nothing for 16-18 year olds, nor for nursery education. bbc.co.uk |
