Why the hating on O'Leary, macca? He's a very clever man who has given decent mobility to millions of less well-off Europeans by making aircraft functionally the same to passengers as buses or coaches. Fair play to him.
Now Brexiteers would, of course argue "Good Riddance" to O'Leary anyway, the EU won't mess about with our access to EU airspace because holidays, and if he won't transport us, BOAC, British Caledonian, or Freddie Laker will.
Because British package tourists and stag groups are universally loved and admired by tourist boards overseas due to their decorous behaviour and respect for local cultural sensibilities.

I wouldn't care so much about the voice, it's what she says with it
Looks like Starmer is heading for the win though. Fingers crossed. A few years too late but there's nothing we can do about that.

Why do you think Starmer's heading for the win, jda? I'd love to think this was true but I'm finding it very hard to keep up any optimism in political matters these days.

Well it's clearly a two horse race but the last poll I saw seem to put him ahead. I agree it's closer than I would like. And the pollsters haven't asked the likes of me

I think Nandy has the right ideas, Starmer probably the right prime ministerial “look”, and Phillips perhaps is the one who has the “personality”.
Long Bailey with or without the hyphen seems to be a generic Corbynite clone, in the same way that Jacqui Smith, Hazel Blears, Charles Clarke and James Purnell were generic Blairite clones. Destined for high office due to political connections and their face fitting rather than any particular merit.

So do I, largely, although I have rather more time for Charles Clarke than TMW seems to - I think he was a very competent and principled politician and it was rather a loss to the country when he bowed out.
Given that Keir Starmer is so clearly the best candidate for the job, and by far the best vote winner, I think Rebecca Long-Bailey now has to be the definite favourite.

Can't believe you left Geoff Hoon and Liars Byers off the list TMW.
