Glad your hip's feeling a bit better CL. My hip is still recovering, slowly...
Tried to go for a swim yesterday, but couldn't because someone had been sick in the pool :-S My arms are getting super-strong though, what with all the arm-biking I've been doing!
((Sal)) 6 months is a long time to be injured! It's been 4 months for me so far, so I know how frustrated you must feel. Hopefully you'll get sorted soon though.

Sal that sounds crap I hear your moan.
It's amazing how the months slip by. I can remember thinking OH CRAP NOT 6 WEEKS WITHOUT RUNNING. Long since gone with everything else.
MC arm biking? Is that a gym thing?

my goodness what a state everyone's in! bad luck! dont they say things come in 3s?
When i first decided to give running a miss moschops, it was for 2 weeks and seemed like the end of the world! I have to say after this long i've reached a kind of calm resigned-ness about it all, but it kind of shook things up when i realised that i could have seen the orthopod 3 months back! I bought a float so i could swim arms only when my foot was at its worst mc. pretty boring but better than nowt.
On the positive side, i try and look at all the 70 year olds who seemed to overtake me duing marathons and up steep hills when i was running and think at least we got the rest of our lives to go running once better. And my gardens looking pretty good now too. Still cant wait to go for a run though. And im still swearing at the ***** s on the streets having a nice run.

Hi everyone!
I see we are still all here - damn it!
It's soooo true what you're all saying. When I first got injured I was nearly passing out at the thought of 2 weeks without running, it's now been 12 and like you say Sal, a sort of resigned feeling has come over me.
News from me - appointment to see a hip specialist on June 13th. Am glad but a bit annoyed I have to wait so long - the guy is on his holidays, who does he think he is?!
Hip has been feeling worse so I have made a pact to totally stop running rather than attempt a couple of minutes every now and again like I have been doing up until now. No running until July for me now...
CL - what's this hip draining you mention? It seems that hips are a bit of a dodgy area for us on here!!
