I came first in my age group at Kings Lynn parkrun this morning.
It’s the first time I’ve run there. A nice flat course in a lovely park. The old wind was blowing & it chucked it down, but never mind, character building I think they call it.

@Helegant I too was at Millennium Country parkrun today and I think I said "Thanks" to you a couple of times (without knowing who you were) both out on the course and also when you were leaving on your bike as we headed back towards the visitors centre afterwards, having first grabbed some dry clothes from the car!
Yes, it was a bit on the wet side but well worth the trip down from Nottingham. Really enjoyed it as it felt a little tucked away and very 'tree lined' which I love. Perfect numbers as well. A few we have done recently have been a little too popular and congested so it made a welcome change.
Fab event and well recommended!

Mr Woo was tail walker today and because we had a very low turnout, he had a higher finishing position than he’s had when running!

LG, our tail walker was also first in her age group today - mind you, she is in her 80's.
