Maybe there's a two-thirds of life slump, since midlife crisis is probably a bit pre-midlife now? Once we are passed that, we'll be bouncing about like Sharkie. (I've been having a bit of the megrims over the last couple of months, it would possibly be a comforting thought that it's that, and I just need to ride it out to the upswing. Better than some of the alternatives.) |

Ditto ER. I just dropped a chocolate peanut on the floor and made all sorts of involuntary noises as I got down and up to pick it up. When I read that I thought you were still discussing bowel habits 😳 |

57.5 Degrees of Pain
When I read that I thought you were still discussing bowel habits 😳 I can still eat dinner and a coffee right before bed, but 50 bike miles and a parkrun required me to take off to bed for a long nap this afternoon. |

Speaking personally and with my next birthday being my 70th, I'm a bit surprised at all you youngsters seeming to embrace the tropes of older age so enthusiastically! Maybe by the time you hit 70 you'll be out the other side. I like to think I am. Not had an after lunch nap for ages |

57.5 Degrees of Pain
By the time I'm 70 the naps will be interrupted by occasional waking hours.

I love a post-lunch nap. And sometimes a pre-lunch nap too.

I am looking forward to hitting 70 so I can take up ballet plus start chucking things about, and playing in sandpits Hey if hitting 70 enables me to do these things I have 10 years of still feeling this old and decrepit lol. Speaking of naps I went off to my bed for a 1.5 hour Kip this afternoon. Mainly due to still dancing and partying till the early hours and the up for parkrun and also due to fact I about to have an energetic 2 year old and his more sedate brother for a sleepover |
