System Online is what also gives me the GP records. MyChart offers the hospital ones.

Sadly lacking in Scotland trying to follow up on tests results and referrals is hellish getting bounced back and forward between gp , different depts within same hospital and different hospitals.

I'm in England. SystmOnline is for practices who use the SystmOne computer system. There is also EMIS for GPs & possibly a couple of other systems still around. You can apply for online access at your practice (take 2 forms of ID) if the practice offers it (see their website). If you have Online Access you can join it to the NHS App. PKB is the hospital version (disconcertingly shows test results before the GP has seen them). My area is getting the documents onto the patient records, from email, post, and electronic mail, triaging them for priority, adding relevant codes (that you can see) and forwarding on as necessary to other people. There can be backlogs... |

Hann, should be able to have it on your hospital notes that you want to be copied in to every letter. Bearing in mind the letters to GP etc might not have the level of detail you desire.

I'm aware the practices I've worked in have been pro-computer.

Alice the Camel screening results don’t necessarily go straight into the GP system from the screening database or the service that processed the test. The results maybe waiting the electronic inbox to be added. Then they’d be visible on your record. It may also be a problem with the patient facing end, perhaps not updating efficiently. I’d contact your surgery to ask why. |
