When I asked the optician she said my brain would get confused by having such differing prescriptions - i.e one eye not having any short sight due to the surgery and the other being around -9. I’m a bit sceptical about that being an issue. Your optician is right Fragile Do Not Bend I had to get my other eye done because if this. Right eye had perfect vision but left was -10. The brain can cope with a small difference but not that much.

I know I can manage ok for short periods of time at least wearing just one contact lens because I’ve tried it. Not driving obviously but moving about the house and such.
