An aisle-end display in Home Bargains on Saturday featured Bird's custard in ready to serve, powder in tub and powder in packet formats; and also Bird's trifle packet mix. I should have taken a picture. PS I like Sainsbury's trifles, when they are half-price. |

I love trifle. Unfortunately, both my wife and my daughter hate it, so I never get the chance. I mean, not even I could eat a whole family sized cold pudding. Or could I?

mmm custard. TH hates custard. I'm not sure if it's on the Long List of Things Not to be Eaten When TH is Home or just the Long List of Things that Badger can Have If He Doesn't Mind Cooking Two Meals.

Love it when a comment begins "Mmm"! You've all triggered my sweetness tastebuds. I think I shall go and get a small pot of rice pudding from the pantry cupboard..... the joys of working from home! |
