Oh dear. I'm informed by one of my skippers that it's called "Touch and go". Oh dear.

GPS in the car, but now 10 years old and no updates, since Renault want £150ish per update. Typically use phone & Waze in UK and co-pilot (download maps, no data use unless I want live traffic) for rest of the world.
Typically use it 'locally' (ie up and down M27, M3, into Salisbury etc) just to be aware of traffic & alternatives if roads clogged.

I have a “carry on” SatNag for our motorhome which can be configured for different sized vehicles. It does lie however, having once taken us down a road which became narrower and narrower until it became necessary to conduct a 45* point turn to be able to retrace our steps to a larger road. Having looked at the road map, there was nothing to indicate that it wouldn’t be suitable for a motorhome.
* maybe that is a slight exaggeration.

I think we need one of those satnavs in our motorhome, ER. Mr Woo is prone to being a bit gung-ho about some of the routes he takes

I usually use the twatnav these days (not for the most standard trips but I don't do many of those) and just added to the thread so I could share my term for it. (phone and Google maps which is handy for blockages etc though far from infallible).

It's about time for the Bonnie Tyler joke, I reckon. Anyone care to do the honours?
