That football was crazy. Tough call on the offside, but the crowd trouble was a worry. Not the publicity the organising committee would want before the games even officially start.

I’d like to give that treadmill a try (only with the safety harness though!) to see how fast I could get. I suspect I would struggle to get up to 25 let alone hold it for any length of time!

I just looked back at my training, tbe best I could find was a mad 400m rep back in 2011, just under 18kmph, Hodgkinson ran at 25.

Another thing I do is try and work out where I get lapped in the 10k races, men and women, for my pb. It doesn't take very long!

i was just about to post that link. It's insane. I'm sure it's correct, but on the treadmill they seem to be running like Bolt rather than Keely!

Rugby 7s is back on iPlayer again. It's the minor placing playoffs currently, think the QFs start around 8pm

Couldn't find a thread so thought I would start one.

Who else is off to watch or who is watching at home?

We're doing Lille and Paris and a mix of sports. Currently trying to find travel insurance that includes ticket cancellation as some of the trains in the UK might be difficult and we have some internal French trains to do as well.

Also need to work out the new Paris metro ticket/app combo (Navigo I think).
