If it was just me, I wouldn't bother. But my 17 year old is very into them (even the tedious later stuff, it seems) and we've seen an Oasis tribute band and Liam doing the first album at the O2 a few months ago, and he'd be very much wanting to go to any proper reunion. Kids, eh?...

I loved Swans, they reformed after a 10 year hiatus by releasing a new album. The album showed they were still pushing in new directions and worth seeing - and were possibly even better second time round. Also saw House of Love - phoned it in, singer’s voice was gone. Profoundly disappointing. I’ve studiously avoided Sisters of Mercy, had bad things about the shows and Eldritch’s voice. Better to leave the memories unsullied.
