Kale is trendy at mo. My Dad always grew it in his garden so been eating it on and off forever. Does help add a bit of green to a smoothie but spinach or any other green works just as well.

Kale is nice to eat but bugger to making my smoothies into a green yak. I tend to use 200mls of Soya or almond milk and whatever fruit we have to add to a banana. I have got into the habit of late walks with my dog to the local co op where I buy up bags of very ripe bananas extremely cheaply.

the nutribullet blasts the kale so small that it isn't yak.

Good review of nutribullet and alternatives in guardian theguardian.com Am loving the nutribullet, best gadget I've ever bought. Breakfast has been revolutionised so easily with spinach, banana, frozen berries, nuts. Have even dabbled with raw cacao and chai & flaxseeds |

I bought a nutribullet a month ago. Really is a nice piece of kit. although I moved from vegetable juices to smoothies due to taste issues.

Try the same but with adding a few spoonfuls of porridge oats for a super breakfast.

Just back from a long walk in the sunshine and blitzed up a banana, frozen pineapple chunks and a handful of almonds. Yummy.
