You win't regret it philbo! I took a while to buy ine because I was thought it might be a pain to wash up and then I wouldn't use it, but it's so easy to clean and I'm still using it.

agree B - we had a cheap juicer before and it was a mega pain to clean, the NB is pretty much a quick rinse. Although massive tip - do not leave it unrinsed - the residue / bits set like concrete! That is hard to clean if left - only left a glass unrinsed once - blimey heck.

Are raw beets in the Nutribullet a bad idea? I'm worried they might mess up the blades.

Not a problem. Chop them into lumps if you can, though.
Mine will deal with a handful of ice cubes, or a handful of frozen carrots, and I regularly throw nuts in. They all get blitzed.

They were demonstrating the nutribullet the other day on one of the shopping channels and they were using raw beetroot.
I should get some Sainsbury vouchers for signing up to BT infinity so going to hold out till they turn up.
