Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Their watch identification database is flaky, but this is the worst I've heard about (mostly it's successful uploads where the watch is unidentified, or it keeps doing elevation correction no matter how often you turn it off). Thing with the F3 is it has so many variants, I suspect.

You can do it manually for now. Connect to the computer, the files you need are in ACTIVITIES, use the Import link to top right of connect.garmin.com

Anyone had problems with the Fenix 'hiding' gps data. While the watch has promised faithfully that it's locked on and ready before setting off, and returns realistic pace/distance/elevation data gc and fetch have no map info.... hmmm

I've just tried importing the fit file directly, and it shows no route data either. I'm out of touch with the inner workings - does this mean it didn't record one, or is there (should there be??) a tcx file to accompany it?

The watch records a .fit file, the old importer used to generate a .tcx from that but I don't believe Garmin Express does that anymore.

Thanks Molesy. Just updated to 7.2 - odd as I thought I already had. Will try it again this evening. Or should I just turn gps off and on again to make sure it's set?
