Just asking as I am apparently registered but have never received any notifications. Has anyone ever "found" me? I suspect I never set a "hiding" point so wasn't actually in the game. Soz. I've set a home point now for the next round.

It won't change where you've hidden. It might stop you looking for other people once you're found though.

you should be able to move your grid for the time you're away, ITG, I think?
Fetch made unlimited moves possible when everyone was first setting their home points and I don't know if he ever put a limit back on...

ITG - you'll need to actively select a hiding location by clicking on a square you have visited (ie a red square) in your "Hide" grid and checking that it has turned yellow. Then nothing will happen until 1 October ...

Right! So I wait till 1st October :) I'll try to get it right this time.

I'm not leaving till 9th October so it might all be over by then.

Thanks, that was fun. Last month I posted a comment and was found within about 5 minutes so thought I’d keep quiet this month. Out of interest, does it show where I was hiding ?

Here's the barebones of the new game:

How it works
The game generates a big three mile square with you at the centre. The square is cut into a grid of 1600 smaller squares.

During any given, unlock as many squares from your grid as possible (C19 permitting) by visiting them during your training. These are the places where you can 'hide'. Before the month is up, you must choose one of these squares as your hiding place.

When the first game kicks off (1st of the month), a lone seeker must start finding people, by visiting the squares. When someone is found, they become a seeker too. The seekers can then collaborate to flush out the hiders, and a growing army of seekers hunt down the final hiders.

The last person to be found will become the seeker for the following month.

IMPORTANT
