Going to Clumber Park (Worksop) on Sunday 28th to have a go at my first Trust 10k. A free monthly 10k held at various National Trust sites.
Thought I would start a thread for anyone who has done/is doing or interested in doing these events (Not just the Clumber Park one)

I'm planning on doing one of the Clumber Park ones later in the year - I'd mentioned it to a friend when I spotted it recently and she's up for it. Great to see the thread :)

Looking at doing the Clumber Park later in the year. Didn't understand the location instructions, but maybe clearer when you get there?

Nice to meet you today riggsy.

Today was my 4th time doing this event - I it 3 times last year.

It's such a nice relaxed event, I tend to use it as a steady run rather than race effort. Today I did the 10K then carried on to get 7 miles done.

FML, go in through the main entrance and there are signs to where parking is, then just follow the runners. :-) It's around a third of a mile from the car park to the start/finish. 2 loops, fairly undulating.

I went to Clumber on Christmas eve (arrived just as the 10km was finishing) and went hunting for Shaun the Sheep statues. This year (2024) it's going to be The Snowman themed... (for those who do the Clumber 10km in December)

We were going to do the Christmas Eve one but ended up doing the Chesterfield Santa Run instead last year.

Might do it this year though :-)
