I think we've worn Dad out. I wonder if he'd stay asleep if I put Shrek 2 on the telly. (He doesn't have any time for animated films these days, though he used to take me to the pictures all the time when I was wee.)

Pix - shortbread.

I've just been reading the reviews and lots say there's too much butter and that makes it too greasy. If you read them there are lots of suggestions about which biscuits to use.

Personally I don't think you can go wrong with digestives.

I used to use BBC Good Food a lot but it drives me nuts now with paid only subscription so can’t see the ingredients list - anyway is it the no bake chocolate tart?

I tend to use ginger biscuits these days for cheesecakes and I think it would work well with a chocolate tart too.

I had the app but I refuse to pay for it, I bought the magazines for years and saved the recipes in the app disposed of the magazines only for them to now charge to access it.

On to deal or no deal and a Nana nap I think.

Don't think we're having anything special for new year. By that, I mean, I dont think Mr Ness is planning on a special meal for then. Not sure.

I've told Dad we just go to bed at New Year so he'll probably go home and first foot the neighbours.

We haven’t discussed NYE yet but given we’ve not been out or done anything for years I’d be very surprised if we changed that this year.

It’s Son2’s birthday tomorrow. He’ll be 27. Blimey. I thought about making him a cake and then had a Quick Look in Sainsbury’s earlier in case they had any good post-Christmas reductions but I didn’t see anything. Good job too - his GF has just turned up and said she has one in the car 😊

Shrek 2 (and then thinking if it's too early to go to bed!)

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
