I think hospitals do this a lot Pix, get hold of the doctor's tomorrow and stress that she lives on her own and has been sent home without a care package, what can they do for her please? as you don't live locally.

"Mowed" the lawns this afternoon, the grass was much too long and wet having not been cut for possibly 6 weeks.

Club committee meeting this evening.

Now trying to catch up on a bit of Strictly and also trying to stay awake. I'd like to have a good night's sleep for a change.

That is really not good Pix - really hope both you and your mum are OK. What if you hadn’t been there?

That’s the thing, I don’t know if it’s mum saying all ok my daughter is there don’t worry or if it wasn’t offered

That could be it, Pix. If she told them help wasn't needed because you'd be there, they might have decided not to get in touch. If it was that, she's unlikely to admit it.

That does sound like a possibility, but very wrong of them not to check with you to make sure you had what she needs ready. But then they probably believed her and need the bed for someone else and figured you’d sort it.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
